Wings for All is an airport “rehearsal” program created to alleviate some of the stress individuals with autism or other intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families experience when traveling by air. Special thanks to Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) and Delta for helping The Arc bring this program back to the Lehigh Valley for 2024!
Registration for this event is exclusively open to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Due to space limitations, each participant may bring one family member or support person to board the plane, and one additional person who can go through TSA but will not be allowed to board the plane. Pre-registration is required for all attendees. Please ensure that all sections of the registration form are completed and that the information matches your ID exactly. All participants over the age of 18 must bring a valid photo ID.
If registration is full, your name and information will be added to a waiting list. Everyone on the waiting list will be notified by June 5 if there are additional spots available.
If you are interested in helping participants register, directing participants through the process and supporting families at Wings for All, please sign up to volunteer. Volunteers must complete all sections of the registration form with information that matches your ID exactly. All volunteers must bring a valid photo ID. Volunteers should plan to report to ABE by 9:30 AM.

People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are entitled to this piece of community participation—just like anyone else—and should be able to navigate air transit comfortably to experience the same opportunities as every other traveler.
