Nomination Form

The Arc of Lehigh & Northampton Counties is now accepting nominations for recipients of our 2023 One Step Forward Celebration Awards, which will be presented on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at DeSales University.  Please refer to the list of awards and use the form below to submit a nomination. Nominations are due by February 17, 2023.

DESCRIPTION OF AWARDS

 Allen D. Deibler Advocacy Award
Presented to those individuals who demonstrate exceptional efforts in improving the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Lehigh Valley by advocating for the rights, welfare and quality of life, with particular emphasis on efforts to affect system changes.

One Step Forward Award
Presented to a person with an intellectual or developmental disability who is working towards independence and self-determination, leading a life of productivity and achievement within the community.

Dedicated Family Award
Presented to a natural, host, or adoptive family whose care for their child(ren) and assistance to other families as well as service to The Arc sets an example to families of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Valley.

Distinguished Service Award
Presented to an individual, organization, agency or facility that has made outstanding contributions in services in the community as well as to The Arc that further the welfare of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Business Recognition Award
Presented to a business that has devoted their time, talents and resources to benefit and support The Arc and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
